ScrapCarAI Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how ScrapCarAI handles billing disputes, credits, and cancellations. It supplements our Terms of Use and applies to subscriptions, add-ons, and usage-based charges (“Fees”).
1. Subscription Renewals
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before renewal.
- Fees already invoiced or paid for the current billing cycle are non-refundable, except where required by law.
- To avoid renewal, cancel or change your plan in the billing portal before the next cycle begins.
2. Mid-Cycle Changes
Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date. Higher plan allowances remain in place until then.
Upgrades are prorated and charged immediately; upgraded allowances become available once payment succeeds.
3. Usage-Based and Overage Fees
- Overages (e.g., additional tokens, proxy charges) are billed in arrears and are non-refundable once incurred.
- You are responsible for monitoring consumption via dashboards, APIs, or webhooks.
4. Service Credits
We may issue service credits when we are unable to provide the Services for reasons within our control. Credits apply to future invoices and are not redeemable for cash.
Credits are not provided for:
- Changes or countermeasures introduced by Source Sites, including CAPTCHAs, rate limits, or takedowns.
- Issues caused by your infrastructure, credentials, proxies, or network providers.
- Beta or preview features designated as unsupported.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you believe you were incorrectly billed, contact [email protected] within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate promptly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your workspace.
6. EU/UK Consumer Rights
EU or UK consumers purchasing services for non-commercial purposes may have statutory withdrawal rights. Digital services may begin immediately, in which case you waive the 14-day withdrawal period to access them.
7. Termination for Breach
If we terminate your account for violation of the Terms of Use, you remain responsible for outstanding Fees and no refunds are provided for the unused portion of the billing cycle.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect business or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date indicates when changes were published. Material updates will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
